Fire Crews are busy in the Forest Areas of Peace River, High Level, Slave Lake and Grande Prairie with Hazard Reduction Burns.
Firefighters are removing dry and dead grass to lessen the flammable fuels in the area.
The Northwest was devastated in many areas in 2023, because of fires, and officials are hoping that 2024 is a quieter year.
