Four gang members arrested in Fox Lake

Fort Vermilion/Fox Lake RCMP conduct arrest of A$AP members after a complaint of shots fired – Update

Fox Lake, Alta. – On June 15, 2024, Fort Vermilion/Fox Lake RCMP conducted an additional arrest following information obtained after the events, and subsequent search warrant, of June 14, 2024. The suspect was located in Fox Lake, had 9 warrants for his arrest attached to his name and was under conditions not to be within the community of Fox Lake.

As a result of the investigation, John Ringo St. Arnault (33), a resident of High Level, Alta., was charged with:

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
  • Possession of a firearm when unauthorized; and
  • Failure to comply with order (x3).

St. Arnault was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. He is to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort Vermilion on June 17, 2024.

Fort Vermilion/Fox Lake RCMP conduct arrest of A$AP members after a complaint of shots fired

Fox Lake, Alta. – On June 14, 2024, at 11:20 a.m., Fort Vermilion/Fox Lake RCMP received a call of shots fired in the area of Laboucan Road in Fox Lake. RCMP officers responded and conducted the arrest of three individuals. A search warrant was then executed at the residence with assistance from Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services and Western Alberta District General Investigation Section. As a result, 5 long guns, 2 body armors and a small amount of suspected cocaine were seized.

As a result of the investigation, the following Fox Lake residents, all proclaimed members of A$AP, were arrested:

  • Dusty Eric Laboucan (29), was charged with:
    • Possession of firearm while unauthorized (x5);
    • Careless use of a firearm;
    • Unsafe storage of Firearm (x5);
    • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose;
    • Possession of body armour (x2); and
    • Possession controlled substance.
  • Stanley Bill Laboucan (27) and Luke Hank Laboucan (34) were charged with:
    • Pointing a firearm;
    • Discharge firearm with intent;
    • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose;
    • Possession of weapon while unauthorized;
    • Careless use of a Firearm; and
    • Possession of prohibited device.

The three Laboucans were brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. Dusty and Stanley will appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort Vermilion on June 17, 2024 while Luke will appear before the same court on June 25, 2024.
