- Valleyview Police received a report last week that a youth had secretly taken an inappropriate video of another nude youth at a recreation centre bathroom.
The video was then sent to other individuals on social media. Police have identified both the victim and accused and charges are pending. - Fort Vermilion RCMP have released details on the Shelter in Place on Thursday morning in John D’or Prairie.
Police say a woman was held against her will in a residence. A number of firearms were seized, and 22 year-old Marty D’or faces firearms and hostage charges. - There was a heavy police presence in the area of 106 avenue and 108 street in Fairview last night, and people were asked to avoid the area.
Trending 55 received word this morning that the scene has been cleared, but no other information has been provided as of yet. - Peace River MLA Dan Williams says a lot of coordination went into dealing with the fire that happened in the Shaftesbury area.

The moisture will fall for the day today and then start to clear up in the Peace and Mackenzie. The Big Lakes get the wet stuff until Wednesday before clearing.
